Women Entrepreneurship Support

 

TRAINING PROGRAMME

The WES Centres provide women with the following training programmes:

  • Start up Training Programme: Programme is designed for women who consider or plan to start own business. Training focuses on creating self-confidence, answering the questions regarding the evaluation of one's own self and the business idea in terms of being an entrepreneur and the viability of the business idea. ‘An introduction to prepare business plan is also delivered in this programme.

 

  • Business Developing Training Programme. The programme is designed for women who are already running a micro business. There are three types of business development trainings.

Functional Training - training is provided within different functions of the business (e.g. marketing, sales and promotion, strategy and business plan, management and leadership, financial management and accounting, computer and Internet skills)

Sectoral Training - training is provided for specific sectors and branches (handicraft, textile, food, and restaurant) with focus on marketing, production and quality, costing and management

Access to Finance training - for women who need financial support in starting up a business or developing the business.

In the framework of Women Entrepreneurship Support Project, International Lions Associations Federation of 118 Y Lions District provides mentorship services to women enterpreneurs.

Women who benefit from the services of WES Centers in the framework of the cooperation between TESK and Youth Association for Habitat are benefiting from computer literacy trainings in the framework of the project “Computer Literacy Trainings” implemented with the support of Youth Association for Habitat, Microsoft Turkey and United Nations Development Programme.
